Review: Well, Oracle Fusion will definitely be a winner once it is released. It would have the best of the best features from different application suites (PeopleSoft, Oracle etc) and it would eat the SAP Market Share in future. Keep Watching...

Review: I worked for Oracle roughly five years ago--around the time when Oracle decided to enter the enterprise applications space with the E-Business suite. At the time everyone doubted them and said it was too large an undertaking. Believe me they will make it work. They have the management, resources, skillsets, and customer base to support them.

Review: There is no doubt in my mind there is any confusion at Oracle as to who is in charge. I am sure everybody is aware of who acquired whom. However, the devil is in details. Oracle will be under a lot of pressure to show results quickly. Let's all hope they take the time to do it right and come up with better products when it's all over.

Review: So, SAP is also doing a re-write. Can we get some news about that? What are they hiding from us? I understand that it is a complete architechture change, very simmilar to Oracle's. Will be interesting to see what happens here.

Review: Interesting that SAP is doing the same thing -- rewriting their applications. But no one is questioning them.

Review: I've worked with John Wookey in the past and no one should underestimate his skill as a manager. He knows how to manage very complex projects and is trusted by both the business and technical teams. If anyone at Oracle can pull this off it's Wookey. SAP might want to start thinking about how it's going to protect its market share. Armageddon is about to begin.
