Review: This sounds great! My wife and I will retire in mid-'06 and will begin extensive travel with a large fifth- wheel trailer. The portability and speed of your device will be great as we will use the truck for many side trips in unfamiliar areas all over the U.S. Plus, it is not permanently installed so we can use it when using public transportation as well.

Review: It was a pleasure to read a well-written GPS navigation article. You zeroed in on some key aspects that most miss. Also liked the aspect of faster GPS startup times and what it means to users. That faster Nuvi GPS startup is due to the SirfIII chip set.
