Review: I think that a lot of you who are saying that you will not ever donate to the Red Cross again are reacting too quick, and not thinking about the impact. The American Red Cross, and the International Red Cross are not the same organization. Your local chapter of the Red Cross is funded solely on the donations of local individuals and businesses. For those of you who are going to donate please insure that on the memo line of your check you write "Local Chapter." If you just make the check out to the American Red Cross the money will go to National HQ. Please contact your local chapter for more information.

Review: Seriously, people. Get over yourselves and your religions and try to see that the Red Cross organization is larger than just one or two countries. It is a worldwide organiztion which helps people, no matter what their religious status, color, gender, or age. By all means they needed a universal, welcoming, nonoffensive symbol so that they can continue to help all people no matter what the crisis or country. Sometimes I just wish there was a little button to push so people could open up their minds a little to the possibility that everyone is not like them, and that doesn't mean they should be or have to be. Above all else we are humans and sometimes we all need a little help. I'll definitely give my money to that cause.

Review: I have respected and contributed to the Red Cross on a local level with money and man power because of what it stood for worldwide. Now you have decided to offended the Christians by changing your logo. I will not contribute to any group who use these reason to change who it is or how it looks to a few complainers. I will attempt to encourage my church and community to stop all aide of anykind to your "new group."

Review: It's not about "offending" people. It's about not getting shelled by troops who hate the religion you're implicitly identified with. People who call this P.C. obviously didn't read the article.

Review: I have no problem with the logo but I do have a problem with what they are calling it--Red Crystal. Sounds too New-Age to me.

Review: Here we go again. If you do not like the cross then do not take the money.

Review: The swastika is a Hindu symbol, not a "Hindi" symbol. Hindi is a language; Hindu is a religious tradition.

Review: They are changing the symbol to something religion-neutral. Now I'm offended. I don't think anyone cares because I am a Christian. I'm glad they are making everyone else happy--Red Whatever will get nothing from me in the future. They can get their money from those they are not offending.

Review: It seems that the logo doctors have addressed a symbol while ignoring the name. If some people are really offended by the use of the Red Cross logo, they will probably continue to be offended by the name. Unless this international agency is planning to also rename itself the Red Angled Box Relief Association, dropping this well-known and international symbol makes no sense --- the name says it all --- Red Cross.

Review: The ever vigilant forces of political correctness are at it again. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. I shudder to think of their next project.
