Review: "On Cell, there's not really anything to answer," says Intel's Mulloy. "It's targeted at games and embedded devices, and not on the mainstream server, mobile, and PC sectors." Well, I'd rather plug a keyboard and install Linux on a PS3 than buy a filthy PC or a Macintel.

Review: On reflection, I find it interesting that the focal point of all this is not to make life better, but simply more entertaining. Granted, the profits that spin off will support exploring other applications, which might even benefit society, as opposed to simply amusing it. Whether that actually happens remains to be seen. My guess is it will not.

Review: It's a good article. I'm hoping to see another company stand on par with Intel. Like the way Sun did to Microsoft. As the competition increases, it is the consumer like me who benifits.
