Review: Myspace works because there's an entire web designing community that's behind it. A good example is createblog.com.

Review: I think myspace design has made it easy enough for members to figure out. Just like http://www.xadultspace.com they have made it simple as well.

Review: Nice Article!
MySpace's default profiles are awful, and you're right, MySpace in no way helps the user implement their own 'style' to their page.
But ... You can do wonders with a bit of CSS

Review: I have one of the millions of band profiles on myspace, and I have to say it's one of the best things to happen to underground and commercial artists since the invention of the internet. I've been booked for shows through myspace, met tons of artists that have resulted in collaborations, and even managed to annoy a couple thousand pepple with comments and bulletins, but guess what, they all know my name now! lol.

Review: I honestly think myspace is a godsend. I'v been a part of it since the first year it was made, and watched it grow. The potential is higher than anything else to hit the internet.
Not only can you connect with friends, but you have hosting for 1000 pictures, a standardised but very easily customisable page, with easy means of contacting and networking with people, as well as good ways of letting people know about updates..
Making this an ideal place for new buisnesses, professionals, bands, actors etc. I think it's the fact it draws all these as well as the general public that helps make myspace grow.

Review: I started on MySpace about a year ago. I have a buisness promoting shows. It is called syke tv. And I have found MySpace to be a great tool. I have over a hundred bands from Michigan and a few underground bands from other states on it. and my Internet TV station is posted on it. It is a place for bands from Michigan for the most part to be heard. I have also found a lot of long-lost friends on MySpace. So it was defenitly a good buy for Murdoch (or whoever he is).

Review: I've been on MySpace for almost two years and it has really been in the past month that I have really done anything with my page. Basically before I just had the standard page with a few blurbs about myself, now I change my design/layout almost every week. I have a different song playing when my profile is visited and even have a video from youtube on there. I love MySpace, I've reconnected with a few friends I went to high school with and I've made some new ones.

Review: It is possible to make MySpace look great but in doing so you need extensive knowledge of code. The reason MySpace works is because even those with no Web knowledge can design easily. The funny thing is those of us with much knowledge have the trouble.
