Review: A note of reality needed here..I used to work in Tata Consultancy Services earlier. Frankly, I was shocked to see the level of staff exploitation as well as lack of ethics in their client work culture, contrary to the general impression created by them to the Industry abroad. I remember that they completely copied a major Benchmarking study from one client to another without any sincere effort altogether. It is sad to see the American Industry running after and incredibly enriching these kind of firms, who fundamentally grew from highly unethical and exploitation driven business models. None of the good and qualified professionals stayed long in TCS over the past years. All the good genuine professionals were harassed and abused by the highly predominant low quality old timer 'political' staff in TCS, and left the firm after demotivation on this environment. All the low quality and less educated people have stuck to TCS past 10-20 years and occupying most of senior positions now

Review: India is like Cinderella: raised a pariah during the Cold War, proved its mettle in the Y2K crisis, and found the world at its doorstep. One secret is India's recipe to attract its genius kids to the professions, although it doesn't train the rest very well. The second secret is freedom, that enables talent to flow, form and re-form as needed. These are extremely powerful, since any nation IS its workforce. The third truly secret ingredient is the most basic principle of Hinduism: respect for individual choice, first in worship and by extension, in life. This unique freedom makes for an adaptable, resourceful and optimistic people. Last but not least, India has an uninterrupted tradition of private enterprise going back several millennia. Come in and stay awhile, the party is just beginning. India is the world?s next economic superpower. China will remain a manufacturing superpower.

Review: Indian enterpreneurship has all along been world class, no doubt about it. Otherwise in spite of all the artificial roadblocks and constraints from the policy makers, the industry could not have grown and come to this stage. Now that Indian politicians are also learning lessons and supporting liberalized policies, the potenial is truly unleashed. No wonder that for the successful business houses from India, now there is a larger business canavas of the world than just the Indian market. Brand aquisitions and take-overs will be continued without a stop now on. Also never forget the fast growing domestic market as well, supported by higher purchasing power of middle class and the big size of the younger generation.

Review: Indians have blinders on thinking we dominate the world, but India does have a lot of potential, largely untapped. Though we have improved tremendously over the last decade, we have miles to go to catch up with China in terms of infrastructure and government policy. Whilst we Indians blow our own trumpet, the Chinese quietly toil to catch up in those areas where they lag. Luckily for India, we do have a few private companies that have been leading the way both in pivate and public forums and have managed to get the government to move their collective lazy behinds. India's GDP is miniscule as compared to the US or Japan, but what that means is that we have an opportunity to catch up. Let's hope we dont get bogged down with un-requisite illusions of grandeur. Chak de India. Catchy phrase. Hope it springs us forward.

Review: No doubt that India has made a great progress in all sphears. But we have 2 areas, we have to improve viz reducing the poverty of real poor(not rich) and cinemas where our main theme is boy meets the girl, villain, fights, and finally marriage. this is a main theme of Indian cinema in a country of 1 b+ population. The only areas where we have success is information technology and science. While IT is benefitting engineers, scientists are most neglected lot forgetting science is basis for technology.

Review: East or West India is the Best. Not everyone knows that India's contribution to the world was "ZERO," yes the numeral zero in 012345.... series. Now in years to come the Indian brain is behind every successful business throughout the world!!!. So better late than never, I invite the business community of the world to come and invest in India and reap the benefits. Indians welcome any investments in food processing. In years to come food will be the number one commodity and Indians will be the largest consumers of food items. WELCOME TO INDIA

Review: Chak de India. "Just do it" is the latest buzzword among Indian entrepreneurs. India would continue to spring surprises in coming years with audacious plans in every industry. India shouldn't become a rogue country (Big Brother mentality) like U.S.A. This is going to be important in coming years.
