Review: COD2 is not being received well by the on-line gamers. There are many disappointed and mad X-BOX as well as PC multi-player users posting complaints at IWNation. There is even a planned multi-player PC server strike for Dec. 17th.

Review: @Mike The limitation of the Media Center in handling HD video is that as of now, they can only handle or record over-the-air HD, not cable or satellite. The ability to handle cable won't come until Microsoft releases the Vista version of Windows next fall, and then only if the cable companies come through on their oft-delayed promise to deliver cablecards for the Media Center. Even then, you're not going to be able to send HD to a an extender. The nextworking technology to handle it just itsn't there yet.

Review: Xbox 360 gets its name from the temperature it reaches at shutdown (360F). Momma says, "Never buy the first model year." Momma right. Read the forums. 1 out of 7 members are getting DHL tags to ship their long awaited prizes back to the Mothership. I'll wait till Xbox 720.

Review: The Xbox 360 is only loud when you're playing a game. Otherwise it's whisper quiet.

Review: I heard that the Xbox 360 was having problems with overheating, so that put in question if I'm going to get it or not.

Review: If it's only good at games, and its lineup continues with the same mass-market sports titles and sequels, why not wait for the more powerful PS3 with linkup to PSP, or the more creative and unique Nintendo Revolution with DS linkup?

Review: 1. The video is compressed for recording and time-shifting. It has nothing to do with network transmission. 2. Lack of HD support has nothing to do with Microsoft. It is the cable companies' fear of HD content being copied. Read up on the latest CableCard and Microsoft agreement to see the HD future. 3. Can't comment on the fan noise, as mine is quieter than my DVD player, which I can actually hear spinning the disc.

Review: A racket? When I think of a racket, I think of a noise so loud I can't concentrate. Mine doesn't make "a racket" althought it isn't exactly quiet either. Would you rather have a box 5 times the size that doesn't make "a racket," PS3? The Media Center comments are completely off base. How much have you used MCE? The extender functionality is wonderful, but it won't replace your existing full blown MCE. It's an extender. It's limted. End of story. Oh and please define limited ability to handle high-definition programming. That's a really vague comment.

Review: You're right. It doesn't fit in with your living room. If you had bothered to read the manual before doing this review/press release you would have known that it cannot sit amongst home stereo equipment, as there is not enough air circulating. Did you miss all of the overheating problems and crashing woes that people have been experiencing. I can't believe being a business site you are unaware of MS anticipated failure rate.
