Review: Nice! I can't wait to get the expanded Eye Toy and the Eye Toy: Kinetic game. I've bought so many games over the years for my kids and my husband, and this is something we will all use! (But it will "My Game!")

Review: Like Angie, I had the same reaction when reading this article. However, I do realize that Angie and I are probably a tiny percentage of girls who are actually interested in gaming. In order to attract a girl who has never played a console in her entire life, exercise may be the way to go. Intead of buying a treadmill for $500+, you can buy a Playstation 2 or Xbox, ddr pads or eyetoy and game disk for around $250. Plus, you can play with your friends too. The key is getting females to buy the console for themselves. Eventually, they'll start looking at other games in different genres.

Review: Actually, I'm a guy, and while these "games" may be marketed to women, I can say that there is a market there for men, too. While I can only vouch for myself, I would guess that there are other men who don't wish to work out at a club for whatever reason (money, privacy, competition, etc.). There is also the attraction of interactivity that's not provided by the typical workout video tape.
BTW, I've already lost 40 pounds (no lie) and actually have a nice physique now from using Yourself!Fitness. I'll definitely check out the newer offerings even though I'm a man. My success has even convinced my wife to start using the PC rather than video tapes, too.

Review: As a female and a gamer I'm a little insulted by this "idea" to get more women to game by making it about exercise. Because, really, as a woman the only reason why I'd buy a game is because it will let me burn fat so I can look just like the girls in the games. Get real. I'm upset that the only thing these companies think I'm interested in is excercise just because I'm a woman. What? I can't simply be a gamer because I like strategy or cool graphics?

Review: As a female, I read this article and right away told my husband I want this title and the camera, too. If they are targeting women, it is working.
