Review: The iPod nanos are cute alright, but believe it or not, 4GB is hardly enough. I bought one for myself when it first came out, but ended up buying the video iPod just a couple of months later. In addition to music I also load mine up with podcasts and audio books so 4GB wasn't enough. The battery life isn't that great either on those little things. If you're using it at the gym, it's okay, but it's useless on a 6-hour flight. Now my nano is sitting in my kitchen hooked up to some speakers. Pay the extra $50 for the 30GB video iPod. For $50 you get way more space, way more features (video, photo, you can even hook it up to a TV and play your videos there) It's thin, it's also available in black just like the nano, and it has a much longer battery life.

Review: Who cares about originality? Fact is it's an immensely usable product that plays music, movies, podcasts, books--even top-line university lectures are available.

Review: Well, maybe not original, but neither is a diamond. :) And I know which I'd rather have. (Hint: not a diamond)

Review: Apple's shortage will push demand (and prices UP) for the ipod into early next year; always a critical time for a mfg or retailer....

Review: Irene, we all decided not to get you an iPod anyway. You're gettin' socks, just like last year.

Review: Are you kidding me? My 14-year-old daughter has the video iPod as her No. 1 gift. I've got music and use it all the time. Great gift.

Review: Not a very original present, is it?
