Review: Here is a thought, everyone wants Microsoft to go down. But they are the only ones who have the resources to keep improving their code as long as people don't let them slack off. There are more hackers and the likes that work either independently or together than any company has. To offset that you need money, lots of it.

Review: Whenever a new medium has come along (printing presses, film, VCR, DVD), the first exploiters are the purveyors of pornography, and the second is the criminal element. Don't act as if we should expect anything else from the Internet. Be vigilant.

Review: Thank you for not using the word hacker in this post. By using words such as criminal and attacker, you avoid the misrepresentation most make when the word hacker is used out of context.
I usually send out lots of comments when articles like this come out saying "Stop confusing hackers with criminals!" But you pleasantly avoided the term.
Thank you.

Review: Well, it cannot be too difficult to capture these people. People need to start getting caught. At the end of the day it's a bunch of college kids doing these crimes and if they think they will get caught it will stop!

Review: Those who perpetuate...
You mean Microsoft because, let's face it, all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Windows back together again even after realizing that it was as fragile as Humpty Dumpty in terms of security. Take Sony's rootkit, for example. It self-installed and you wouldn't even know it was there. On a Mac, their application had to ask for permission and required you to enter your password to get installed. And that's despite the best efforts of Sony... Then guess what? Removing the Windows rootkit could require a system reinstall!

Review: Those who perpetuate such sick crimes to damage other people's lives -- financially and otherwise -- should be prosecuted.

Review: And now they try to pass themselves off as FBI or CIA and accuse you of viewing "illegal websites." If these people would put their time, energy, and imagination to productive purposes we all could get on with business.
