Review: I believe that examples of architecture "on the edge" inspires us to create our own version, incorporating elements of that design that would work for us.

Review: As usual, upon reading about the Urban Glass House, very little is written about how the specific features of this structure will make people feel both living inside and as a neighbour. It is my observation that in architecture we are easily seduced by that sexy look, that unique shape, that original concept. What if we picked our partner the same way; hey brilliant, sexy, adventurous, let's spend the rest of our lives together. What we don't ask is if this person or building embodies qualities that support me feeling good every day. Trophy buildings are too often not about people but about concepts although we'll deny it mostly. Since we are a culture that lives in our minds and confuse what we think with what we really feel, we will continue to be seduced by brilliant architects like Philip Johnson and their brilliant but more often than not unfriendly creations.

Review: I think this house is very sleek and individual. I love the way the glass gives it such an airy feeling. The way the sun shines in is very beautiful and relaxing.
