Review: @Rod The Cingular EDGE network that the 8700c runs on really isn't fast enought for video. The question becomes more relevant when RIM comes out with EV-DO versions for Verizon and Sprint. As for storage cards, I don't expect to see RIM add them. The primary reason is that the corporate and government custmers who buy most Blackberrys don't really want removable storage because of security concerns.

Review: Read this on a new BlackBerry and ask an IT person if there are any issues with getting Blackberry, yourself, in terms of connecting to their servers.

Review: The other factor to consider is that the Blackberry hardware is much more reliable than the Treo. I have talked to several large company users of both and most Treo users are on their second device.

Review: I'm so glad that Research in Motion has made improvements. I still use my 7510 model. Look forward to upgrading to the 8700. The e-mail is the best in the industry. I used e-mail everyday. Question: Will TV & video be capable on the 8700 model? And will 8700 model have chip capability? I would like to be able to record a cell phone call, record it onto Sandisk card, etc. Is a camera phone coming out soon? I like my Blackberry. Thank you. Rod Dixon

Review: I like Blackberry's but nothing really beats the Treo 650 for one-handed operation and the vast amount of software out there someone can use. The problem with the Treo is that it is still very unstable. Mine resets almost five times a day. It also has its share of hardware issues.
