Review: Place your bets. Both of these companies have so many synergy possibilities. Newscorp, king of traditional media outlets with its venture into the Web with MySpace, and Google, current king of the Web with its venture into video. Both companies have similar goals. I see these meetings between the two as a chance for both of them to increase the size of the pie rather than battling over pieces of it. If they don't agree, they both have too much to lose, especially with the speed with which an alternative can explode in the tech industry. They will work something ou. They have to.

Review: I am just curious why no one in the newsmmedia is being a real reporter and commenting on the fact that only 1/3 of the time MySpace pages load correctly. "An unexpected error has occured" message is received so regularly, I am amazed that anyone would bother advertising with the site. They have multi-million dollars in backing, yet they can't keep the site up and operating. If someone were to run a site with a fast server that actually worked, then they would take away most of MySpace's business.

Review: The question on hand for News Corp is "will I get what I signed up for?"....period. Revenue sharing is Google's greatest card and I truly believe it will be played to it's best advantage. Good luck Fox!

Review: The Google acquisition of YouTube has had no implications that would benefit users and, hence, increase traffic. All the mentioned possibilities will result in a deterrence of users from visiting the site; integrating ads into YouTube videos, excluding YouTube videos from MySpace profiles, and yanking Fox clips off of YouTube will all result in a changing of user habits that will translate into decreasing revenues for all parties.
