Review: Tom is a hard act to follow. I thought a simple linear relationship of unionization rates to explain sloth and lack of economic adjustment would do the job.

Review: Europe's basic failing is two fold and they are closely related. First, Europe is socially and culturally, a yard behind, even the Old Roman Empire when it comes to institutionalizing the prerogatives of Property Law. This leads to the second failing of their societies and cultures, which translates into unlimited government power as orchestrated though fascist bureaucracies, and loss of basic human rights and functions stemming from the first issue. Therefore the promulgation of European humanity's advancements are meaningless and non-starters within the European cultures. This leaves them with less than open communications, temporal rights, and a self enslavement toward institutional prerogatives. The end result is an ever increasing decadence which institutionalizes sloth and failure.
