Review: Does not sound like Google (i have heard about). Anyways why do I care? Where is the flexibility? Where is creativity? I can not bring new idea that was not mentioned in agenda? Well, I prefer to have brainstorming sessions more than meeting anyways.

Review: Some good points, some curious too. Being a great company doesn't mean that their meetings are well executed. The time chunking is typical of our snacking society which can't focus more than 10 minutes on a subject and I won't recommend that. Otherwise, you are right on carefully sets rules in meetings. They can be pointless.

Review: What a bunch of Crock. If the CEO of Google comes by at 9:15 am and wants to meet, he will need to put his name on a board. Also, the employees are setting the order of priority? Good luck!

Review: Clear purpose of the group, clear aims for the discussion and clear roles within each particular group, are rather obvious general principles, frequently ignored. Having some way (method) to accomplish your aim is another matter. This process-ignorance is a hole in many an employee's competence; more than most employers seem willing to admit. Just for fun, I like the prodding Steve Davis offers through his almost-rant at http://www.randomactsoffacilitaion.com. No more complaining about bad meetings!

Review: Nothing really new here, except some of these concepts completely fall apart when your meetings are 99.9% remote which is the reality for most high tech companies now.

Review: Very interesting approach to applying structure to a business that operates on what seems a rapid pace and still allow innovative process. I will defintely see what can be applied to my own field in the interests of speeding up our decision-action cycle.

Review: We call a meeting to share information and agree on some action steps. If these do not happen in a meeting, it is a waste of time.
