Review: I agree with ur mom and his commentn about piracy but,the fact remains that the thrust the studio's must undertake is computer to thoese new HD/big home movie sys. That Apple is doing this re-enforcecess my resolve to buy their stock. The big boy's will i am sure develop a parrallel sys. causing the market to fracture once again in to many delivery platforms.this will cause the market place to frustrate and not give the consumer a clear place to buy.How does this banana fit into the carrot typ thing. The leading Studio's should get togather and set up a joint venture and develop a ONE SYSTEM which would be like the BETA/VHS battle.

Review: This article repeats the same old myths, e.g. downloads represent a potential source of piracy. In reality, the retail DVDs are the worst source of piracy! Ever since CSS was cracked (as has every other technological form of copy-protection) there are pristine MPEG4-format copies of every new DVD, even before they're offered for sale. The real problem here is simply the movie studios unwillingness to embrace new technology, and also to accept the new pricing reality.
