Review: Bman, your analysis is just speculative nonsense. Deutsche Bank analyst and S&P recommend "buy" for Intel. Leave the performance analysis to the Pros, will you?

Review: Intel always used conservative numbers for forecasts of upcoming quarters. AMD noise is loud but it is still noise. China and emerging markets will be the main factor behind growth. AMD does not have the capacity to fill these markets.

Review: From WSJ article, Andy Bryant of Intel for their Q3 conference call said: "We think there was some inventory build at the larger customers" translated: "We shoved chips down their damn throats at the last minute so we could have reasonable 3rd Quarter numbers. AMD has crippled our profitability. Those larger customers will probably want to send a large percentage of these extra processors back to us when they realize that they can't sell all of them. Intel of course doesn't accept returns like that, so they will just not order any more processors from us until the inventory is gone, probably killing Q4 and completely decimating our 1Q06 numbers. But I have good news.... I just saved a bunch of money by switching to GEICO."
