Review: Vuitton needs to concentrate on the wellbeing of thier employees instead of pursuing "fake" merchandise. They continue to employ managers that harrass thier employees to the brink of insanity. They are a very very greedy company that will someday come crashing down.

Review: E bay isn't interested in accuracy. I have reported to ebay on at least five occasions incidents of sellers embellishing descriptions of products and applying inappropriate terms. Ebay always thanks me but does nothing to solve the problem.
For instance go to ebay and search for the term moonphase. Typically you will get about 300 hits for watches claiming to have moonphase indicators. Of the 300 hits less than 40 will actually have moonphase indicators. Most will have cheap day/night indicators on the dial. This may be a small thing but when problems are reported and ebay makes no effort to address them then ebay is at fault. Ebay kicks buyers and sellers off it's site daily for less. I have come to the conclusion that doing business on ebay is like doing business in China. Never count on getting what you are supposed to be getting. Cavet emptor will ruin ebay which is quickly becoming the largest venu for the sale of stolen, counterfeit and bogus goods on earth. And you wonder why Whitman retired?

Review: I pray each night that ebay goes down> Hopefully the courts will recognize that thousands of consumers have been scammed on eBAY in every category: not just handbags!

Review: LV is too lazy to police its own brand. Why don't they walk down the NY streets where the fakes come from? They're too lazy to do that. eBay does police its site, but rememeber there are millions of listings! People need to actually read policy agreements, and honestly, don't send a money order to China thinking you're getting a real item!

Review: Cudos LVHM. Do you all know what actually goes on when fake bags are manufactured and then passed off as authentic? For starters, slave labor and sweat shops in China, Taiwan, etc. Should we support slave labor? Mob gangs? Drug cartels? This is what happens when fakes are sold. It is a huge industry. Do some research on the net. It is very clearly spelled out. On top of all that, it absolutley kills the honest, authentic handbag sellers like myself. I sell only authentic, and I have not even been able to sell a bag for what my cost is. I have done some investigating online and on eBay and I will share with you that most handbags on eBay are fake and that eBay does not care. Passing fake bags off as authentic is criminal. I contacted eBay about some illegal transactions going down and people being taken for many thousands of dollars in the handbag market and this is what they had to say: "What do you want me to do about it?" They were demeaning and did not care. My 2 cents!

Review: I bought a Lexus car, Rolex watch, Razor phone, Nike 'Jordan's' and really great DeBeers diamond ring all at over 90% off on eBay. I look good and feel good for less, where's the problem? hahahahaha

Review: This is ridiculous in my opinion. eBay is acting as a facilitating third party in this transaction, and has no responsibility to verify the authenticity of anything. The responsibility in these transactions falls squarely on the buyer and the seller. Where does it stop? Do you forbid eBay from allowing *any* trademarked merchandise to be bought or sold? Aside from food items with images of saints on them, what do you have left?

Review: This is remarkable since Louis Vuitton's newest bag clearly violates the patent held by Hermes regarding the strap, it's two metal attachments and closure. I love the concept of eBay being a better place to sell your wares but it's hardly the worst offender. How about LV sues the country of China?

Review: These companies do have actual rights to the use of their name; but seriously who buys any name brand on Ebay of that status believing they are getting something authentic? Regardless, as Ebay did with the still unstoppable sales of "Victoria's Secret" items, now labelled "La Moda" etc., they may end up doing with this issue. I suppose the seller would resort to claiming either authenticity (as most do) or that the item is "inspired." As long as there is communication, supply and demand will find a way to transpire; Ebay is merely the middleman getting its piece of this inevitable action. This is a conundrum surrounded by capitalism!
