Review: Well written! Unfortunately, this is an "in house" matter of morality. The average Joe and Jane were not morally violated. I predict that they will go home and surf the Internet for a less costly HP computer/printer/"palm pilot"/calculator and feel good about themselves for their self-discovered boon. The press (self-proclaimed moral beacon of our times) is attempting to guide the moral compass of millions of people. There is a disconnect here in their attempt. HPQ will come away from this with a black eye, and not much more. The laws of our land will convulse and tighten with regard to pretexting. Lawyers will give new and more conservative advice to clients in this area. HPQ will continue to supplant IBM as the new standard.
