Review: Ern from NY is totally right! I began my online experience with Black Planet, one of Community Connects' first ventures. Now I primarily use myspace. Social networking is hot and niche marketing get right to the client. But what I'd really like to talk about is how smaller firms like mine can help there network site users STAY connected. I have an idea how. Contact me for details if you are associated with any of the Community Connect brands or NewsCorp's Myspace. I can be reached via email: molasses@molassesjones.com

Review: Subscription Dating services are true Social Networking environments. Community Connect is the truest social networking environment out there; a free service with natural viral growth (largest destination on the Web for African Americans since 2001)all done without a media giant behind it and without any mass marketing to built it. Members use it mostly for staying in touch with friends/family, career advancement, with dating only being a fraction of its revenue and traffic. It's an industry fact that the MySpace's CEO got his inspiration for the News Corp. darling after using Community Connect's networking tools for a few months. Unfortunately, the press thinks MySpace invented this strategy and naysayers to social networking also keep this company from getting its long deserved accolades. To the naysayers: keep your head in the sand and keep watching on the side lines about niche social networking; maybe it will go away one day!? Just ask MTV.

Review: Someone should inform court that Evangelicals won't join a site operated by the same folks who operate Glee.com. I think some market research is necessary here!

Review: $20 million in revenues does not make Community Connect the third largest in terms of revenue. What about Spark Networks (AMEX:LOV)? They did $65 million last year and focus on niche communities like JDate. Personals sites vs. social networking? Whatever. We all know "social networkers" are really looking for a date. Besides, it's all about community building.
