Review: Resumes should be posted with great care, which was not covered in the slide show. Job-Hunt.org has great advice on protecting privacy, including methods of modifying resumes to protect privacy but still be useful. Limit contact information and add a date so you don't get fired later for a job search that's not happening. Neither Web sites nor e-mail should be taken at face value: 1) There are fake job sites and fake dating sites, usually promoted by spam or clueless Web sites. Their purpose is to collect personal information, like resumes, and as much other private information as they can. 2) There are also fake employers, with wonderful work-from-home "job opportunities," also usually promoted by spam or clueless Web sites. They "hire" people, giving them an excuse to collect Social Security numbers for ID theft. Must be careful out there (the Internet), at any age!
