"True education is that which helps us to know the atman, our true self, God and Truth. To acquire this knowledge, some persons may feel the need for a study of literature, for a study of physical sciences and some others for art." Gandhi 7/10/32
I applaud the introduction of low tech, home grown, eternal wisdoms into high tech, lab developed, temporal strivings... but not necessarily the reverse. -Billy

Excellent example of how East meets West for universal benefit. On the same lines, I know both the US and India realize that both working together can transform and lead the world in a more natural way, and without imposing ideas, products and serviceson the masses, or without even exploiting the underdeveloped world. Both nations are forming strategic partnerships in most important spheres of present day volatile and fast changing world--protecting environment, eradicating mass killer diseases, forcasting and preparing for natural disasters like psunami, energy, defence, counter-terrorism, research in space, ocean lanes protection, science and technology in hi-tech emerging industry sectors, etc..
The future once again for the world is looking up to be bright, maybe a few decades away. It is a great beginning of a long journey traveling together.

Great to see someone return back to India and help her up. We need more selfless souls like Mr. Makkuni who are such brilliant examples. Hats off to his creative work ,ideas and Gandhian values.
