Writing's decent enough but the selection was disappointing and commercial -- no new ground. There are aged Cava from Spain such as the Marques de Gelida Brut for $13 which are dazzlingly champagne like and a whole category of real champagnes, "grower champagnes" which are remarkably affordable and far more interesting than the predictable commercial pitches made here.
