Kim Feb 5, 2011 2:33 AM GMT Wow. Looks like the investment world ran everyone dry with the dot-com-bubble and sub-prime mortgages. Now they are using gullible people to get money out of the federal government? Wow, I wish I had the balls to do that...guess I am too afraid of getting caught.

cpascal Jan 23, 2011 3:00 PM GMT It's a shame that these few for-profit colleges are giving a bad name to online degrees in general. The term "online degree" refers to the means through which the classes are taught. Most mainstream colleges offer at least some of their courses online, including Ivy League schools like Harvard. All because the student got their degree online, doesn't mean that the education behind it is of low quality.http://homeschool-college.blogspot.com

Decker Nov 26, 2010 3:09 PM GMT I am sure that the Government takeover of student loans is only to make it easier to redistribute money from the working class(wealthy) and give it to the nonworking(so called poor), not to mention lining the pockets of cronies that are holed up in university and college campuses. There maybe few that make it through this program, but at a cost not much different from the ratio of cost per job presented by the Obama Stimulus Plan, at least $200k per temporary job created.
