Dazzer Oct 7, 2008 8:29 AM GMT still don't see them leading the market or even close to their competitor. So all this effort and research, down the drain? Problem may not lies with the design but its business and distribution strategy

DJ Jun 21, 2007 11:52 PM GMT I don't see any innovation here, this is just aesthetics. Plenty of other mice out there, just the same. And the process they used to make it is no different than most run-of-the-mill design shops. Of course you have to at least start with sketches, prototypes, etc. Where's the user research though?

Aaron Cooper Jun 20, 2007 9:22 PM GMT It's great to see companies engaging in field research to uncover unmet needs, behaviors and motivations. It sounds like the design team gained some valuable insights.Admittedly, however, the design aesthetic of the mice doesn't positively resonate with me. I would prefer to see my clear Apple mouse in "sleep state" rather than mice than mice that remind me of the Star Wars land speeder.http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=star+wars+land+speederI'm also wondering if Kensington has plans to provide mice that can be customized with different "skins" (similar to customization offered for cell phones, ipods, etc...). This would offered flexibility and even surface texture customization (equally as important to me as aesthetics).

Brian Jun 18, 2007 8:15 PM GMT I would like to see a wireless keyboard with a built-in trackball or trackpad, especially for the growing mediaportal market. How can you use a mouse if you're sitting on the couch?

Matt Westover Jun 14, 2007 2:51 PM GMT For the notebook users, why don't you provide a mouse that stores and charges inside the card slot on the laptop? We would be happy to work with you on it.
