I moved to Radnor for my college years, and then moved to East Norriton after. Both areas I find to be better. The nearby city is Philly (which has a lot more culture and family fun stuff to find). The private school here are top notch. Radnor & Bluebell (next to East Norriton) are amough PA's expensive places to live, but the surrounding towns are just as nice for MUCH cheaper. to name a few: plymouth meeting, east norriton, wayne, ardmore, state college (more central PA), and others like the brandywine area are great for nature lovers; home to Longwood Gardens!

Cranford is a much better town to rasie a family in NJ then this sites choice. Cranford is central/north, close to the beach and to NYC and to the mountains. best malls, best schools, nicest people, and tons of kids. the town square even has movie nights (for free) on the lawns. I grew up on the south side, next to town and it was the best place i could have grown up- far enough away from all of the poor sections, and far enough away from the richer prissy people NJ has. Cranford is the best of both worlds; theres $200,000- $4 million houses and tons of lux condos too.

This is about Judsonia Arkansas. I dont know who the joker was that did this survey but I lived in Searcy Arknasas and I would never live nor raise my children in Judsonia or Searcy. They both are nasty towns. Im not kidding when I say its a big cover up with the police these towns here are ran by Harding University that dont want anything bad said about it. There are alot of crimes that happen around those areas including a huge drug problem, and theres been murders that have never been talked about.

Surely there are towns in Florida that deserve to be on this list. Family's can actually afford to buy a home there. LA, NM, really???

Ball, LA? I'm honestly quite shocked. Did the authors and researchers even visit central Louisiana? It is an extremely backwards place and the largest city, Alexandria, is plagued by inertia and a lack of vision. There is little to do in the region. Sure it is inexpensive, but you pay a price for that cheap house.

Yeah, the NM one is hard to believe. Extremely high crime in the south valley, even Ridgecrest. It isn't safe to live there, let alone raise children.

I live in NM and the south valley of Albuquerque is considered the most ghetto, roughest part of town.
