priyank Jan 11, 2011 10:55 AM GMT hi vishnu,i read about your concern. and as of now, i would suggest you to think practically. as this aviation industry is going on right now, we need a lot of money and then source to get a job. but still if you would have this kind of rigid attitude in becoming a pilot then i am sure you wil become a pilot. and i would suggest you not to take any wrong step to become a pilot. thanx.

DanTe Oct 18, 2010 8:53 AM GMT Whatever you do, DON'T fly Korean Air. Not unless you're an anemic skeleton who likes hot stuffy air during a long international flight. On 2 flights out of 4, I had to sit through 18 hours each way of temperatures that his 80F and no air flow. Than I figured out, it's the same imbecilic pilot on those two flights.

Interconnect Oct 17, 2010 10:28 AM GMT Logistics in the Middle East, MENA, Asia Pacific region left the region behind. Iniative of capacity building of CAPA's Binit Somala is great step, for growth, development of the havenots today. Building the High Speed Rail as in Singaore, Malaysia, Korea, HOng Kong, India needs huge investments in the infrastructure for track. As you see in Dubai the Dubai Metro Rail Service or the tenders in Saudi Arabia for High Speed Rail services. High Risk country risk in political or otherwise situation pay high interest rates to DFI and price for high country risk by Exim Bank too. Today the flying machines are fuel efficient, and can instantly uplift economies for employment, cargo, by airlifting the goods. The WTO should also take due cognizance for countries as US , UK, France, Germany were big aircraft manufacturers and big flag carriers, with major operators also competetively operating as hub. The iniative of Dubai for the hub in Dubai and the investment for the region is helpful, with countries poor infrastructure as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and has to pay lofty interest and finance charges for the borrowings. Will such countries get subsidy.

Don Oct 15, 2010 2:35 PM GMT While this pay looks high, it is less than almost every US carrier for an experienced wide body Captain. Pay will have to be significantly increased to bring experienced crews. Newly trained pilots just won't work. You can't train 20+ years of experience.
