'Here in the civilized world, I don''t believe half the population equates the name iPad with feminine hygiene. You''d have to be an idiot and/or belong to one of those religions that devote 10% of their ''holy'' writings to the proper way to isolate a woman during menstruation.'

I completely agree with you, Vivek. I am a woman entrepreneur myself in the software technology area and I definitely feel rather isolated in this particular field. However, I have the support of all my girlfriends and am soon ramping up support of men with the unique concept. There are certainly other women in positions of influence but as a percentage the number is insignificant.

Men are underrepresented in healthcare and education, though I don't see anyone prescribing marketing plans to change that. Instead of riding under the glorious banner of equality, first analyze why these battlefields have been picked and not others. It is less a matter of ability than that of motivation. Perhaps they're not dumb enough to work long hours, interacting with both man and machine rather than just men.Is it dumb, or smart? The choice of word seems to invert the meaning entirely. Thus we see the problem with treating this as a marketing rather than engineering problem.

When you mention the lack of female leadership at tech companies, you may have overlooked Yahoo! where women hold positions as CEO, head of Sales, EVP of the Americas, Chief Marketing Officer, and Head of Asia.

I was wondering why all the post which don't agree with WadhwaFRAUD are being deleted. That's not debate, that's rigging it, maybe that's what they do in India, but here in the US we beleive in free debate. So STOP! unless WadhwaFraud you are afraid of the TRUTH!

India Crowned the most Corrupted Country

India has always been known as a highly corrupt country (As an Indian I hate it, but thats the fact). Two government offices, legal and Police, are the most corrupt among the lot. This is one problem that India needs to take drastic steps to resolve.
