Dennis Sep 25, 2009 10:12 PM GMT What is a complete mystery to me is why McD's don't have even one all-hour breakfast entree- should be a no-brainer- competitors like Jack In The Box are way ahead...

Easier Eats Sep 22, 2009 7:27 PM GMT How about rearranging the McD hamburger ingredients into a hot-dog bun format? It's messy to eat a complete hamburger while driving. (I know: don't eat while driving!)

fredy Sep 21, 2009 8:57 PM GMT Mauricio: Hispanic is not the same as Mexican. If you propose Mexican flavor, it concerns just to Mexico and some countries in Central America. South America is also part of Latin Americaand you will be surprised to know how many people from S. America lives in the US and their food is very different from Mexican. Targeting the Hispanic Market will be a dauntest task, we are so different just because we speak spanish it doesnt mean that we are equal

G Tomas Hernandez Sep 21, 2009 4:00 PM GMT I don't think McD's needs to offer menu items that have a Mexican flair. I don't eat McDonalds and would not want my mexican food to be manufactured in the same method. Let McD's do what it does best. Burgers. Good Mexican food can not be served through a window in a clam shell.

Erin Sep 18, 2009 9:25 PM GMT Actually all food and most operating supplies come from a company called Martin Brower, so all the Angus meat is from them. Also the Double Cheese Burger is still on the menu but had to be taken off the value picks menu beacuse of it's 32% food cost, which trust me, is a hell of alot. By taking off the one piece of cheese on the McDouble and uping the Double cheese price by 30 cents (the exact price of a piece of cheese) it helps out the stores matain their food over base percentage. Theres a reason for everything.

Fascinated Sep 18, 2009 8:32 AM GMT What I wouldn't give for a day with Chef Dan in his kitchen! I personally think the idea of promoting non-U.S. flavors is a great idea. How about a grilled chicken satay sandwich? Or a spicy peanut dipping sauce for nuggets? If you want to stick with the american route... how about a good quality hot dog? It's quite easy to find a delicious dog in Chicago, but not necessarily in the rest of the country!

KhhTS Sep 17, 2009 10:56 AM GMT If Chef Coudreaut could only come up with a decent Hollandaise sauce, I'd love to buy an inexpensive Eggs McBenedict for breakfast. McDonalds already has all the other ingredients on hand with the Egg McMuffin.

Tim Willis Sep 16, 2009 12:50 AM GMT The journalist also has not told you of the 'humble', approachable, professional and all around great guy that Chef Dan Coudreaut is. Red Onion, Deluxe, or whatever.-Great Job
