Susan Oct 3, 2011 8:05 AM GMT The high calorie of fast food does not surprise me in the least. In fact some of the dishes in the slideshow looked unappetizing.But on the other hand, I stand by the rights of the individual. If every once in awhile I have a craving for a fattening burger, I have a right to eat it! I also find that a footlong sub is actually two or three meals for me so the calories are justifiable. It is up to individuals to educate themselves and take care of their bodies. That's part of an adult's life.

forrest Aug 30, 2011 11:11 AM GMT What ia the possibility that the resultas of this study were written before the study began. The blame game continues. Some one eats tripple sized burgers with a soft drink that contains a cup of sugar and a big order of french fries then they go home and sit on the couch all day and claim burgers (fast food) make them fat!Our mental malnourishment makes us fat. Think small be small. (protions that is)

Tony Aug 29, 2011 7:42 PM GMT The fat calories are bad, but I'd also be interested in the sodium content of all this stuff. There's a reason why one in three American adults suffer from hypertension.

Donna Mar 15, 2010 1:51 PM GMT I am nauseated just viewing the photos. No wonder we morbid obesity is at epidemic levels. The commercials do promote them as healthy, but the companies back off from that claim when someone wants to dispute it as a basis for a lawsuit

Edie Clark Mar 9, 2010 5:10 PM GMT Interesting feature but why were fat grams never listed? I mean the article was titled "fatiest" yet fat grams were ignored?! This feature would have had more impact if saturated (esp.) fats had been listed.

Do you really want to trust Cargill? Not me!
