Peter Contardo Jun 30, 2009 4:07 PM GMT Web-series seem to be getting more and more popular among content produces looking to monetize. Brands like it because itâ??s cost-effective, it entertains and it engages their audience beyond a traditional 30-second spot. Producers like it because it leaves room for creativity while paying the bills. But Target and Verizon aside, online web-series have given those brands that couldnâ??t traditionally afford television buys an opportunity to compete with the â??big boys.â?? Smaller and emerging brands can now reach their target audiences â?? and engage with them â?? by aligning with independent producers looking to make money from their content. http://endavomediablog.typepad.com/endavo_media_blog/2009/03/attracting-new-advertising-dollars-online-is-the-great-equalizer.html
