Have to tell you, I'm having more fun than you could imagine reading the comments. Having driven a built 351c in both a 73 Cougar, and a 71 Mach, yall are more fun than a barrel o monkeys.. Of course that was back when gazoline went for about .30 a gallon. The Cougar, which was my ride, would get me about ten miles to the gallon. Gawwd, but life was great back then.

It is clear someone missed the definition of what ICONIC means. Some of your cars listed I never heard of before. List the cars know around the world by us blue collar types. No Corvette Geez!!

Everyone knows that the Acura Legend changed the game for luxury cars in America. This article is laughable to omit this.

Why are you saying that North American manufacturers should take note when you include a HUMMER? You also totally impeach the article's credibility with calling the "original H2" faithful to the military version... Sorry guys, the H2 was built on the Chevy Tahoe chassis, the H1 is the same as the Military version. On top of that, the Zonda, the BMW Z8, Maserati Quattroporte, Ford GT... a bunch of these cars may be iconic, but for the wrong reason: they're pretty but don't sell too well.

Tata nano? Volkswagen beetle? Why would you include cars like these in the list (I read the explanation for nano -please - its a POS). I agree with the other comments, and to show my US bias, a Jag XJ on the list with no XKE or Corvette? You guys are drinking to much bottled water....

The article on the 25 most iconic cars of the past 25 years omits the two most important cars from that period. First, the NSX changed the way supercars are designed and manufactured. That is before the NSX rarely did the supercar manufactures worry about quality control or reliability in a supercar. The NSX was both. It made all the manufactures step up their game. Second, the McLaren F1 is the standard for all of the supercars from that period. It redifined supercar performance. To this day any newcomer that proclaims to be a supercar is compared to the F1. Thus, the F1's omission hurts the creditably of the article.

I realize that the 2007, 4 door Jeep may not be mind numbingly innovative, but it is a far cry from Jeeps past.
