Vidhya Dec 13, 2008 2:29 PM GMT Brilliant article! A good help for those students who think that an MBA admission requires only a good academic score, a great GMAT score and a creative SOP.This article helps people streamline not only their efforts for MBA prep but realization of their own goals in life and capabilities.

PW Dec 12, 2008 12:40 AM GMT Irvin,The issue with going to a top 25 MBA program is the difference between buying a lexus and a ford. The network value and the prestige literally means the difference of a handshake job change in the future. That's the difference between tier one and tier two and three programs. Usually two-year top 25 programs include signon bonuses and a jump to six figures in salary.

Irvin G. Dec 9, 2008 1:57 PM GMT In response to TK's comment. I am currently on a fully accredited Online MBA. In my opinion it does not make any economic sense to quit your job for business school. Who is going to pay the bills? Besides, the flexibility of the Online programs provided a 24 hour classroom in case you are currently in a very demanding job that requires travel and some shift work to support major progra deliverables.I will offer a piece of advice. Please be aware of those "Diploma Mills" which offer degrees with very little work involved. Your employer HR should be able to research an institution's accreditations to ensure that you will not enroll in a Diploma Mill.Let me know if this helps or if you have any more questions.IRG
