Good point Andrew. It should be labled most influential in American Sports. Sep Blatter, David Beckham Ronaldo. As well as people like Federer and Nadal. I'm sick of people talking about how powerful Goodell is. He is just the head of a Micky Mouse League with no history. NFL equals boring and it is hard to stomach all the talk about it on Sundays.

This is a joke.... how can they be the 'most influential people in sport' of there's only Americans there? Is David Beckham not influential? Or how about Roger Federer or Ruby Walsh?

Am assuming this list is of the 100 most influential people in sports IN THE US ONLY because there are a number of sports greats that are missing from that list & i do realise that most of them happen not to be americans...

The picture of lebron should be replaced by that of, for example, Kobe Bryant. I mean, how can someone with bad sportsmanship be considered one of the 100 most influential??? Are you out of your mind???

There should be a lot more women in the lineup - especially in the top 50. Who do you think is inspiring young girls today?

Very disappointed with this list, as this should be titled "The most influential people in AMERICAN sports". The number one sport globally is soccer, yet I could not find a single soccer-affiliated person in the top 30. I think Blatter (FIFA) and Platini (UEFA), Cruijff (Barcelona, Ajax) and Maradona (Argentina), just to name a few, could all easily be in the top 30 globally.
