disgruntled purchaser of a foreign car Sep 9, 2008 6:05 PM GMT I wanted to buy American and promised myself to buy American. 3 trips to the car showroom and I bought a Japanese car fuel efficient 40mpg Honda Civic. "No american car can touch it." That is why every new car on the road seems to be Japanese. At 65mph, if this Ford car had been on the market I would have bought it even at 25K. The CEO's of FORD, GM & Chrysler should be fired. I feel no pity for the soon to be bankrupted US auto industry led by flunky CEO's. You reap what you sow - and Detroit's case they sowed "zilch!"

john Bales Sep 9, 2008 5:54 PM GMT I purchased a Ford F-350 diesel in 1999. It now has 265,000 miles.It has been a very positive experience. Buttt...... I want the Focus Diesel that Ford sells in The UK. Google that puppy!No Hybrid Battery replacement cost
