Tchi Mbouani Apr 21, 2008 5:26 PM GMT I am not sure "FriendFeed" is the right name for such a website. The use of the "term" friend has been made ridiculous, especially because of competitors such as Facebook and MySpace, that allow you to aggregate moutains of friends, day by day, that you admit yourself are not friends anymore. Hence the term "friend" is not credible enough anymore, and I don't think it's at the advantage of FriendFeed to have such a name.

steve Apr 17, 2008 4:55 AM GMT I think friend feed could easily become a much larger site, i think it depends on their ability to stay ahead of facebook, and tackle crowds that facebook is yet to tap. For example, being a college student, it would be nice to have the feed link to my school and find out my interest based on what sports I play, clubs i attend ect.. to help me network better within my community

Vero Modas Apr 11, 2008 8:20 PM GMT FriendFeed is still very limited with their feature set. The probably most advanced solution is http://lifestrea.ms, but it's still in private beta. lifestrea.ms not only enables you to aggregate, but also to create content - all from one central dashboard.

Ontario Emperor Apr 11, 2008 7:04 AM GMT One other feature of FriendFeed is its ability to provide input INTO other services (currently Twitter), not just take information OUT OF services.By the way, another aggregator worthy of mention is MyBlogLog.
