T.K. - I couldn't have said it better myself. Downsizing government and promoting capitalism will ultimately bolster our economy while simutaneously bringing back ideas of personal responsibility, work ethic, and self improvement. We should strive to leave behind themes of bailouts, freebies, and socialization. They have never worked and they never will.

9% increase in spending under Obama? What are you talking about--per month? The stimulus alone was more than that.

if the tea party manages to do one-quarter of what they claim they want we'll see a crash that will make 2008 look mellow.

Its quite clear that the authors intentions are to lead the reader towards promoting the Lefts continuation of Big Government, rather than support the best interests of business and free enterprise. Although the Tea Party movement has its extremists, it wasnt long ago that the pendulum was on the other swing. As the Tea Party continues to mature, the proper balance will return. Wise business leaders can understand and vote for the direction the Tea Party is leading. That will benefit both big and small business and America in general as we regain our leadership in the global community. Good Business DOES trust the Tea Party.

A lot of business do a thriving business with local, state and federal govts and agencies. The reality of "smaller government" means reduced sales and profits for businesses with implications for more unemployment and business failures. The very businesses that have been funding the Tea Party fervor against Pres Obama and the Democrats are beginning to realize the folly of their ways. What started off as harmless fun is turning into a threat to their profitability and their business models. So they are making a concerted effort to cut ties to all things Tea Party. Problem is, they may have overplayed their hands and will have to deal with reduced government contracting activity. With the Republicans threatening to cut govt spending every week, the lifeblood of a lot of these businesses appear to be threatened by the very movement they've been so stupidly backing.

The tea party is mostly lower middle class white rednecks who couldn't reason their way out of a paper bag. Guess what guys? There a great reason why you could never be confused for being "elite"--you're retards!Suck on that for the rest of your life, pals.

The tea party is and always will be a joke--it's just the far right wing of the Republicans, who, like the far-anything, tend to make a lot of noise and not much sense. They will probably get more Dems elected by nominating unelectable R candidates.

Echoes of Norman Lincoln Rockwell. Sick.If the Tea Party paranoid schizophrenics had their way minimum wage would be 75 cents/hr, no vote for women and blacks would still be slaves.
