I'm a self employed consulting engineer. I pay for EVERYTHING.Overhead, health care, those fabulous FICA taxes that are double what I would pay in a REAL job, insurance, etc. To hear teachers and other public sector employees whine about their need to pay into health care makes me turn a deaf ear, as I've been financing their game for far too long.I can't wait to vote for whomever governs like Chris Christie...he's the real deal.

Christie 2012.He has the instinct and intelligence to sum up the core of a problem, then the fortitude to solve it.

Republican hero? Though some credit is due Christie for trying to rationalize New Jersey state expenses, the man is a bully who has double-crossed my little town. Our teachers were among the first in the state to agree to a wage freeze as he requested, which did save some 20 jobs; nevertheless, state aid to our schools and municipality (most of which goes to the police) have dropped precipitously, resulting in draconian cuts to school programs and property tax INCREASES of some 10%-15%. Most recently, his administration completely muffed the application for the Race to the Top, costing our schools some $400 million. If he's a Republican hero, what would a Republican villain look like?

christie is a star, powered by common sense pragmatism and a direct speaking style that appeal naturally. after the empty slogans and ideological disaster that is barack obama, a straight shooter unafraid to speak direct and simple truth is exactly what's called for. i hope mr. christie spawns lots of imitators.....

I have NOT been so impressed by any politician since Barry Goldwater in 1964. I liked Reagan, but I think Gov. Christie would look Iran, North Korea, other terroristic countries in the EYE and say in effect "go ahead, make my day". He has the persona of a John Wayne/Clint Eastwood movie character. Gov. Christie and Mitch Daniels for President & Vice President.

Commie Stoogie....uh....salaries!!!! Nobody needs to make over $80K, not even school head superintendent. May be that would also help blow the real estate bubble still very much alive in NJ.

We love Gov Christie owing to the fact hes taking on the secular socialist who would throw our nation under the Islamicists trying to take over under the Sharia law. Thanks to Mr Christie the people of the New jersey will be more like us here in Texas and will be able to learn the 10 Commnandments in school, bear arms, and fight back against the EPA tyrants turning our country into Europe.
